Minecraft

This website provides a link and instructions on how to play Minecraft 1.8 at school or home. This version of Minecraft is coded in JavaScript instead of Java, allowing it to run in a web browser. The website is hosted on GitHub, making it harder for school admins to block (though not impossible).

Instructions

1. Click the link labeled "Download":

2. When the page loads, click the download button in the top right corner or the three dots and then the download button:

3. Once downloaded, double-click the file. It will take you to a 'website'. Follow the instructions on the website to get a fully functional version running in your web browser:

4. On the main Minecraft page, go to "Single Player" and then click "Join Shared World" in the top left. Add the code located below:

Note: I am currently working on setting up a server for everyone to join, but I am facing some challenges. For now, I am using shared worlds.

Update: I have set up a server and it is running. The link is in the "Server Address" section below.

5. To use the server, copy the address below. In Minecraft, go to the "Multiplayer" tab, click "Add Server", and paste the URL into the address section:
